Love is enigmatic. What is it? Is it real? Why is there a ‘fine line between love and hate?’ If we haven’t been in one, we certainly know of ‘messy breakups’. Is it ” ’til death do us part” or until someone pisses the other off in exactly the right way to push the other’s abort mission button!?
In addition to people, we love: food, places, experiences, seasons, time of day, day of the week, ideas, things and animals. How can this feeling be related to both live beings and inanimate objects? It seems there should be different words to describe our love of a HUMAN (animals are people too) as opposed to the love of an object, no matter how glorious the object!
Love could be the feeling we feel when with a loved one, or engaged in our favorite activity. Maybe it’s more of a generalized feeling caused by that external person or thing. Maybe the love is always there, inside of us, ready and eager to be triggered.
Love is a spectrum.
Love can be warm and fuzzy, or solid and sure. Like ‘tough love.’
Love can be fleeting, but was that real love? Love lasts a lifetime for some, but how?
I love words, but I find them to be so limiting.
The most important love is the love of oneself. Go ‘full spectrum love’ yourself today…!
