I was born in upstate New York, way up state! In the village of Ilion, not far from Utica. I mention Utica since most people haven’t heard of my hometown. When I was about 8 years old I moved to Tampa, Florida with my Mother and Grandmother. What a CULTURE SHOCK! As an adult I have lived in California, North Carolina and New Jersey. For some reason I always came back to The Sunshine State of Florida. I married young and was divorced in my early twenties. I grew up in corporate America, working in the health insurance field for 20 years. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for the last 13 years. When I was a teenager I wrote poetry and assumed the pen name Mick The Chick, which I still use when the mood strikes. I make mosaics and have an Etsy shop named MicksMosaicks, spawned from my pen name. I love to road trip, especially in and around the southwest.
My end game is moving to New Mexico living remotely and mostly off grid.
