How rude! Just as we finally got our food, so hungry, kinda tired, but more ‘crowd tired’ being Labor Day weekend in Niagara Falls, the fire alarm goes off!!! Naw, must be a false alarm, right? Look right, see what is everyone else doing, look left…OK let’s go! Maaaaan… I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese. I was really looking forward to my meal because I’d never heard of it before even though now I can get it in the freezer section, but not as good! I might have had a taste of the mac & cheese… And what a beautiful charcuterie plate. What a sad waste. Well, at least my friend grabbed a couple balls, um, mozzarella balls and popped them into her mouth as we all evacuated and the entire restaurant emptied out the door and down the stairs. After we all evacuated, waited around for a bit then found out there was NO fire. I forget what the rumor heard among the crowd was. Likely a juvenile prank. After all of that I certainly did NOT want to go back inside, and what? Eat food that’s been sitting and ‘who knows what’ as people walked by evacuating the entire packed restaurant. I don’t even remember what we ended up actually eating for dinner that evening… We were just happy to get out of the crowded tourist attraction on a hot holiday weekend, ALIVE!
Did you have to pay? It happened to me once but we were more than half way through. I think they came out and got cash.
Oh no we didn’t pay, never went back inside once we evacuated.
